Delivery Policy:
A delivery fee will be added to each order based on the delivery zip/postal code, for each address. Orders must be received before 11:00 a.m. in the gift recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after 11:00 a.m. will be delivered the following day. We will try our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day if you opt for our express delivery and pick your delivery time. All delivery request under special instructions without the express delivery fee will be considered but not guaranteed. Days we do not deliver on in general: Sunday, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, December 26th, January 1st, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.
Order Policy :
Our 100% satisfaction guarantee states, “If you are not completely satisfied, contact our Customer Service Department at 202-363-1150 or toll-free at 800-654-6253 for our Washington DC location or call 410-268-3341 for our Maryland location within 48 hours of receiving your gift, and we will work hard to rectify any issue you may have encountered.”
Due to various seasonal and regional conditions, and the variety of unplanned issues courtesy of Mother Nature, the availability of some flowers may be very limited in certain areas. Out of town orders may have substitutions but will keep the essence and look of the design you ordered.
Sales Tax Information:
Every Internet order with a local Maryland delivery address will be charged a sales tax of 6.00% applied to the amount of the product. All other orders will be charged sales tax on product & delivery at 5.75%. This tax rate is based upon the rate our shop is charged. To request an exemption from sales tax, please email your tax exempt certificate to service@yorkflowers.com so we can update your account. This is a one-time setup on your web account and you can then continue to place your order without tax after this.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of placing your order and at least 24 hours prior to delivery. All cancellations and/or credit card charges are subject to a 10% credit card transaction retainer. Any cancellation requests after this period cannot be guaranteed and are subject to a 20% retainer.
Substitution Policy:
Due to various seasonal and regional conditions, and the variety of unplanned issues courtesy of Mother Nature, the availability of some flowers may be very limited in certain areas. Also, specific flower varieties or colors may not be available for delivery on a specified day. Therefore, it is possible that the exact bouquet pictured or requested may not be available for delivery.
In this event, we will deliver an arrangement with similar flowers and a container of equal value and beauty. Every effort will be made to maintain size, shape, and overall color schemes of an arrangement, there may be some variance due to designer interpretation. In single-variety arrangements, variety will take preference over color. Our goal is your complete satisfaction. Every effort will be made to provide an arrangement of equal or greater value.
